The growth rate of the added value of the machinery industry in 2020 increased by 6% year-on-year

In 2020, the annual production of my country's machinery industry will stabilize and improve. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, 

the growth rate of the added value of the machinery industry in 2020 will increase by 6% year-on-year, up 25, 7.5, and 2.2 percentage points from 

the first quarter, the first half of the year, and the first three quarters, respectively, and are higher than the national industry and manufacturing

for the whole year. The growth rate of industry added value was 3.2 and 2.6%, which exceeded expectations at the beginning of the year.

Among the five major sectors of the national economy mainly involved in the machinery industry, the electrical machinery and equipmentmanufacturing industry increased by 8.9%, the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 6.6%, the special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 6.3%,the general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 5.1%, and the instrument andmeter manufacturing industry. The industry increased by 3.4%; 43 of the 52 industry categories involved have achieved growth in added value.

In addition, product production gradually resumed. Affected by the epidemic at the beginning of 2020, the production of 120 major 

products monitored by the machinery industry has fallen sharply, and the output of only two products has increased in January-February. 

Since then, with the advancement of the resumption of work and production and the recovery of enterprise production, the number of 

products whose output has increased has continued to increase.

At the same time, major economic indicators rebounded more than expected. In 2020, the cumulative growth rate of machinery industry

operating revenue from negative to positive from September to September, the annual operating revenue was 22.85 trillion yuan, an

increase of 4.49% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 3.73 percentage points higher than that of the national industry;

the cumulative growth rate of total profit as of July Turning from negative to positive, the total profit for the year was 1.46 trillion yuan, 

a year-on-year increase of 10.4%, and the growth rate was 6.29 percentage points higher than that of the national industry.

sub-sectors have achieved year-on-year growth in operating income; foreign trade imports and exports have achieved slight growth.
