1. The milling cutter is mainly used for processing planes, steps, grooves, forming surfaces and cutting off workpieces on the milling machine;
2. The drill bit is one of the important tools for oil drilling, and it is generally used for drilling.
Difference two, different categories
1. Milling cutters are divided into sharp tooth milling cutters and relief tooth milling cutters; drill bits are divided into diamond drill bits, roller cone bits and scraper bits; milling cutters are rotary tools with one or more teeth used for milling. When working, each cutter tooth intermittently cuts off the margin of the workpiece.
2. In the drilling process, the drill bit is the main tool for breaking the rock, and the wellbore is formed by the drill bit breaking the rock. The formation of a wellbore is good or bad, and the length of time it takes is not only related to the characteristics of the formation rock being drilled and the performance of the bit itself, but also to the degree of mutual matching between the bit and the formation.
