Y31 Series

Y 31 Series

The Y3150E general-purpose gear hobbing machine is suitable for gear processing in single-piece, small-batch or batch production. It adopts manual radial feed for machining general-purpose worm gears. Special components can be customized according to user requirements to achieve tangential feed hobbing for worm gears.
  • Versatile Machining: Cuts straight/helical gears, splines, sprockets & worm gears, with optional tangential feed components.
  • High Rigidity & Precision: Double-wall high-rib castings ensure strong static/dynamic rigidity and stable Class 7 finishing accuracy.
  • Premium Components: Top domestic brand parts, wear-resistant tin-bronze worm gear pair, and high-precision ground gears for reliability.
  • User-Friendly Design: Semi-sealed anti-leakage guard, automatic lubrication, and hydraulic rapid traverse for efficient operation.
  • Full Safety Protection: Overload/short-circuit/interlock/limit protection, compliant with national machine tool standards.
  • Stable Cutting Performance: Supports climb/up milling, anti-vibration design, and long-term accuracy retention.

Features of the Machine

  1. The machine adopts a large column fixed on the bed, with the table moving radially and horizontally.
  2. It allows both climb and conventional milling, and is equipped with a manual hob shifting device.
  3. A pressure balance cylinder is applied during the axial movement of the tool post slide to overcome vibration caused by cutting force and eliminate the clearance between the screw and nut.
  4. The radial horizontal movement of the table is equipped with a hydraulically driven rapid traverse mechanism (50 mm for approach or retraction) to reduce auxiliary processing time.
  5. The lifting of the outer support of the rear column is controlled by a manual hydraulic 3-way valve, which can stay at any height.
  6. Spindle speed change and axial feed adjustment adopt manual gear shifting combined with change gears; the indexing and differential transmission chains use change gears for speed variation.
  7. The high-precision indexing worm gear pair is made of bronze alloy with excellent wear resistance.
  8. All transmission gears are high-precision ground gears, ensuring accurate transmission and low noise.
  9. High-precision rolling bearings are used at key positions of the spindle and transmission chains.
  10. The tool post swivel is manually adjusted with a worm and gear structure, featuring good self-locking performance and accurate reading.
  11. The machine is cooled by a cooling pump; cooling oil is delivered to the tool post through pipes, with flow adjustable via a nozzle switch.
  12. The machine adopts semi-sealed protection to prevent coolant leakage; chips are collected in a chip box for regular cleaning.
